Spanish Review I
For those with a moderate level of proficiency in Spanish, this review workshop addresses topics of increased levels of difficulty. Here you will find yourself quickly learning new vocabulary and grammar; including introduction to Past Tense forms, and how to effectively use them. Knowledge of the differences between Ser and Estar, regular and irregular verb conjugations, and a minimum knowledge of Present and Future tense are necessary to comfortably fit in this workshop.
Spanish Review II
This review workshop targets individuals who have participated previously in the Spanish Review I workshop. In this workshop we review and practice present, past and future tense, introduce new language structure, and become familiar with helpful and common Spanish idiomatic expressions.
Advanced Conversation
This workshop is conducted entirely in Spanish conversation. A variety of teachers of Hispanic heritage interact with the class in discussions of cultural, historical and artistic elements from their home country. These subtle differences in pronunciation, vocabulary, and usage sharpen listening and comprehension skills for non-native Spanish speakers. In addition, topics of particular interest to the group such as medical or technical issues can be included in the discussions.
Introduction To Past Tense
The Past Tense in Spanish is usually difficult for new students to master and comfortably use. This workshop is specially tailored for those who want to acquire understanding and to sharpen their use of Preterit and Imperfect Tense forms. Knowledge of the differences of Ser and Estar, regular and irregular verb conjugations, and a minimum knowledge of Present and Future Tense will provide a necessary base to comfortably take advantage of this workshop.
Mastering Past Tense
This workshop builds on the Introduction to Past Tense Workshops. Preterit and Imperfect Tense are emphasized and are a part of every activity in the workshop. Knowledge of the differences of Ser and Estar, regular and irregular verb conjugations, and comfort in using Present and Future Tenses are needed to fully benefit from this workshop.
